The Roberts Lake Telus pay phone has been tagged for May 13, 2024 removal. Some travellers of the Campbell River to Sayward highway are concerned that it is the only line of communication due to a lack of cell phone coverage north of the Browns Bay turnoff. A contractor overseeing Telus pay phone removals is forwarding residents concerns on to Telus.
